Logan Allen O’Connor, 28, of Edna, Texas, United States is an Edna Independent School District employee. While working as an Edna Elementary School teacher, he serves as an Edna High School coach coaching varsity football, basketball and track.
O’Connor’s father Robert O’Connor has been the Edna ISD superintendent since December 2013. Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from the Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University in College Station, Texas and his educational specialist degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

Why was Logan Allen O’Connor arrested?
In 2015, Logan graduated from Edna High School. In 2020, he was hired by the Edna ISD.
Logan is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student while he was an Edna ISD employee. On September 10, 2024, the school district placed him on administrative leave pending law enforcement’s investigation.
On September 16, 2024, Logan was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail in Edna. He was released after posting one $100,000 bond and two $50,000 bonds.
Logan was charged with second-degree improper relationship between educator and student, second-degree sexual performance of a child and third-degree online solicitation of a minor. All of the charges are felonies.
