Bradley Poff, 18 of Salem, Roanoke County, Virginia, United States has been arrested. He is being held in the Salem-Roanoke County Jail in Salem without bond.

Why was Bradley Poff arrested?
On the morning of September 18, 2024, Poff allegedly went on crime spree. He allegedly stole a car at the Riverland Mobile Home Park in Salem, drove it to Cave Spring, Roanoke County where he robbed a high school student and returned to Salem where he tried to steal a female’s purse.
Still in Salem, Poff allegedly abandoned the stolen vehicle and stole another vehicle with a young child inside, abandoned the child, led Salem Police Department officers on a chase, abandoned the vehicle and ran into the woods. He covered his face and head with a mask and garments so the officers could not compile a description.
On the morning of September 19, 2024, Poff was arrested in Salem. He was initially held on a probation violation not related to his alleged crime spree.
On September 20, 2024, a grand jury indicted Poff. He was charged with robbery in possession of a firearm, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, abduction by force/intimidation, child neglect, eluding police – endangerment and two counts of grand larceny.
