Currently, Israel has 21 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Rina Messinger in 1976. The most recent one was in 2005 when Elena Ralph finished in the Top 10.
Israel was represented in Miss Universe by Malkat Hayofi in 1952 and from 1954 to 2021. In 2024, Edgar Saakyan became the new Miss Universe Israel national director.
On October 24, 2021, Noa Kochva of Bnei Atarot was crowned Malkat Hayofi 2021 at Hotel Debrah Brown in Tel Aviv, Israel. Yarin Buzaglo of Petah Tikva was the first runner-up while Aline Gurevitz of Atlit and Ofir Natalie Korsia of Rishon Lezion were the second runners-up.
Miss Universe Israel 2024
The Miss Universe Israel 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at Hilton Miami Aventura in Aventura, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States on September 29, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Israel’s Miss Universe candidate.
