Noa Kochva of Bnei Atarot was crowned Malkat Hayofi 2021 at Hotel Debrah Brown in Tel Aviv, Israel on October 24, 2021. Yarin Buzaglo of Petah Tikva was the first runner-up while Aline Gurevitz of Atlit and Ofir Natalie Korsia of Rishon Lezion were the second runners-up.
On December 13, 2021, Kochva was unplaced when she represented Israel at Miss Universe 2021 at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. She competed against 79 other candidates including Harnaaz Sandhu of India, who won the title.
Runner-up to Sandhu was Nadia Ferreira of Paraguay and the second runner-up was Lalela Mswane of South Africa. Valeria Ayos of Colombia and Beatrice Gomez of the Philippines finished in the Top 5.

Miss Universe Israel 2024
The Miss Universe Israel 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at Hilton Miami Aventura in Aventura, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States on September 29, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Israel’s Miss Universe candidate.
There are eight women competing for the Miss Universe Israel 2024 crown. Here are the candidates:

- Mina Levitis (Jerusalem)
- Tal Berkovich (Kiryat Tivon)
- Ayelet Raymond (Netanya)

Israel was represented in Miss Universe by Malkat Hayofi in 1952 and from 1954 to 2021. In 2024, Edgar Saakyan became the new Miss Universe Israel national director.
Currently, Israel has 21 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Rina Messinger in 1976. The most recent one was in 2005 when Elena Ralph finished in the Top 10.
Kochva is the last winner of Malkat Hayofi, which was dissolved in 2022. Israel was not represented in 2022 and in 2023.
Based in Tel Aviv, Malkat Hayofi started in 1950. The beauty pageant sent Israel’s candidates not only for Miss Universe but also for Miss World and Miss International.
