The Philippines currently has six Miss Grand International placements including the first runner-up finishes of Nicole Cordoves in 2016 and Samantha Bernardo in 2020. The most recent one was in 2022 when Roberta Tamondong was one of the fifth runners-up.
The Miss Grand Philippines national director was John de la Vega from 2013 to 2015 and Stella Marquez Araneta from 2016 to 2022. In 2023, Arnold Vegafria became the new director.
On July 13, 2023, Nikki de Moura of Cagayan de Oro was crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Also crowned were Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023 Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Philippines, Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023 Herlene Budol of Angono, Rizal and Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2023 Francine Reyes of Tarlac.
Miss Grand Philippines 2024
The Miss Grand Philippines 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on September 29, 2024. It is the third edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ Miss Grand International candidate.
In this edition, the Philippines’ Universal Woman and Miss Eco Teen Philippines candidates will also be selected. Only the teenage candidates are legible for all the three titles at stake.
There are 20 women competing for the crowns. I believe these 10 candidates will make it to the Top 10:
