Hong Kong, China made its Miss Earth debut in 2005. The Asian country has yet to place in the international beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility.
Based in Metro Manila, Philippines, Miss Earth was founded by Miss Asia Pacific 1979 first runner-up Lorraine Schuck in 2001. The current president is Ramon Monzon.
