Blake Johnston of Colstrip, Montana, United States was a member of the boys varsity football team of Colstrip High School in Colstrip from 2015 to 2017. He went to Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota, USA on a wrestling scholarship. 

From Minot, Johnston moved to Los Angeles, California, USA to pursue a career in acting. On October 8, 2023, he represented the country in the inaugural edition of Mister Cosmopolitan at The Platform Performing Arts Theatre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and won the title.

Runner-up to Johnston was Abdul Rahim Bin Mahmood of Singapore. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Ivan Aikon Ignacio of the Philippines, Yothin Romthaisong of Thailand and Joshua Saunders of Australia.

Mister Cosmopolitan 2024

On October 26, 2024, Johnston will crown his successor at The Imperial Hotel and Convention Centre Korat in Nai Mueang, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. It is the second edition of the international beauty pageant for men.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, DEMIT Sdn Bhd owns Mister Cosmopolitan, which promotes young modern men who are adaptable to the fast-paced environment. The international beauty pageant was founded by Faizul Mohd Noh, who has been the director of DEMIT Sdn Bhd since January 2018.

Noh serves as the president of Mister Cosmopolitan. The vice president of the international beauty pageant is Leo Nguyen.

Candidates of Mister Cosmopolitan have to be at least 5’7″ tall and 18-35 years old during the competition. Single and married men, single fathers and divorcees are allowed to compete.
