Daniel Felipe Mejia Romero represented Puerto Rico, United States in the 11th edition of Mister World. He is professionally known as Danny Mejia.

BIOGRAPHY

Mejia is a Peruvian-Spanish-Puerto Rican singer, dancer and beauty king with a mortgage loan officer license from Florida, USA. He is the first ever Mister World from Puerto Rico.

Hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mejia sings in English, Spanish and French and he is 6’2″ tall. His mother is from Puerto Rico but she is also Spanish from the Canary Islands in Spain while his father is from Peru.

After graduating from Stetson University, Mejia went back to Puerto Rico where he worked at a fitness mall, started at the bottom and got to the top as manager. He later became a realtor working between Puerto Rico and Florida.

2010s

  • In August 2015, he entered Stetson University in DeLand.
  • On January 18, 2018, he tied a piece of rice paper on a prayer tree in the Religious and Spiritual Life offices of Stetson University.
  • In May 2019, he graduated from Stetson University.

2020s

  • On December 30, 2020, his mother passed away from dengue fever.
  • On May 8, 2024, he was appointed Mister World Puerto Rico 2024 and he serenaded Miss Intercontinental Puerto Rico 2024 Maria Cepero during her coronation at The Lobby Fairmont of San Juan Hotel in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
  • On August 24, 2024, he received his official sash as Mister World Puerto Rico 2024 from Mister World Puerto Rico 2019 José Humberto Cotto.
  • On October 5, 2024, he and Miss World Puerto Rico 2024 Valeria Perez had a photoshoot at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in Carolina.
  • On November 3, 2024, he traveled from Carolina to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
  • On November 9, 2024, he wore a RAINER outfit and walked the runway at the Villa Blanche in Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, which served as the Top Model challenge of Mister World 2024.
