Felipe Hernandez Martinez, 47, of Milwaukie, Oregon, United States has been arrested. He is accused of kidnapping a child.
Milwaukie is mostly in Clackamas County, Oregon. A very small portion of the city extends into Multnomah County, Oregon.
Why was Felipe Hernandez Martinez arrested?
Shortly before 2:00 a.m. on November 25, 2024, Hernandez allegedly physically picked up a girl, 11, while she was walking around an apartment complex on Roethe Road in Milwaukie. He allegedly placed her in his 1998 Ford F150 truck and drove her to an unknown location.
According to the girl, Hernandez drove her a short distance before stopping near some houses. That was where she managed to escape and run home.
The girl’s mother immediately called 911. Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to their residence in Milwaukie.
After locating Hernandez’s 1998 Ford F150, the deputies arrested the Milwaukie man. He was booked into the Clackamas County Jail in Oregon City, Clackamas County.
Bond for Hernandez was set at $250,000. He was charged with kidnapping and harassment.
