On November 3, 2020, Joe Biden won the U.S. presidential election, defeating Donald Trump. On January 6, 2021, Trump’s supporters breached the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. while a joint session of the U.S. Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Biden’s victory.

  5. His fellow HVPB members know him as Buzzsaw.
  6. He worked at the Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, New York.
  7. On January 6, 2021, he entered the U.S. Capitol building dressed in riot gear, including a black helmet, face gator and tactical vest, and used a bullhorn to start public chants.
  8. On January 25, 2022, a fellow HVPB member identified him in photos shown by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents.
  9. In April 2022, he bought a house in Sparrow Bush for $329,000.
  10. On May 16, 2024, FBI agents interviewed someone who worked with him at the Stewart International Airport from 2019 to 2023. The former coworker identified him in the photos shown by the agents, which were taken at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
  11. In July 2024, he turned 31.
  12. On December 2, 2024, U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew J. Sharbaugh signed a criminal complaint filed by an FBI special agent against him.
  13. On December 12, 2024, FBI agents arrested him in New York. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a U.S. Capitol building or grounds and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a U.S. Capitol building.
