Lorenzo Joseph Fertitta Sr. was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States to Frank Joseph Fertitta Jr. and Victoria Broussard Fertitta. Lorenzo used to be the chief executive officer of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, a mixed martial arts promotion based in Las Vegas.

Fertitta is an American businessman and philanthropist. He and Teresa Fertitta have three children namely Nicco Fertitta, Angelia Fertitta and Lorenzo Fertitta Jr.
