Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke of Samoa won Miss Pacific Islands 2024 at the Sports Complex in Yaren, Nauru on February 3, 2024. Seven candidates competed for the title.
On February 8, 2025, Schwenke crowned her successor Litara Loma Leilani Ieremia Allan of Samoa at Friendship Hall in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Eight candidates competed for the title.

The government of Samoa established Miss South Pacific in 1987. It was renamed Miss Pacific Islands in 2014.
On November 30, 2019, Fonoifafo Nancy McFarland-Seumanu of Samoa won Miss Pacific Islands 2019 at The Stanley Hotel & Suites in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. She was not able to crown her successor from 2020 to 2022 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
