Enrique Montesflores España, 48, of Arlington County, Virginia, United States is originally from San Matias, Jutiapa, Guatemala. He went to Instituto Particular Mixto “María Chinchilla” in Barrio La Federal, Asunción Mita, Guatemala.

Arlington County is around 17 miles away from Fairfax County, Virginia. Formed on July 1, 1940, the Fairfax County Police Department is based in Fairfax, Virginia.

On January 27, 2025, the Fairfax County Police Department launched an operation targeting online predators. As part of the operation, detectives with the child exploitation unit (CEXU) of the department’s Major Crimes Bureau posed as children online to identify individuals looking to solicit illegal sex acts from minors.

According to the FCPD, seven men, including España, initiated explicit conversations with the detectives posing as children. In some cases, the suspects sent explicit images of themselves and asked for explicit images in return.

Upon arriving in Fairfax County with plans to commit sexual acts with minors, España and six other men were arrested by detectives from FCPD’s CEXU and the Street Crimes Unit. On February 11, 2025, the department announced the arrest of the seven suspects.

Collectively, the seven suspects collectively face a total of 25 felony charges. In particular, España was charged with solicitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
