Why was Mark Wills arrested?
Mark Wills, 60, of Hulmeville Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States was wanted by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office for manufacturing and dissemination of child sexual abuse materials to children 13 and under. He has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service.
On December 16, 2024, Bucks County detectives started an investigation after receiving tips from Kik and Snapchat reporting a user sharing files containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Wills allegedly manufactured hundreds of videos of CSAM and shared them online.
The children Wills allegedly victimized are believed to be throughout the U.S. and Canada. A subpoena to Verizon traced the internet protocol address of the suspected Kik and Snapchat accounts to his residence in Hulmeville Borough.
On February 6, 2025, a warrant was issued for Will’s arrest. The case was delegated to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
On February 13, 2025, investigators from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia received word that Wills was in West Virginia, USA. At around 8:00 p.m., he was found at the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport, Harrison County, West Virginia by deputy marshals from the U.S. Marshals office in Clarksburg, Harrison County.
The deputies approached Wills and apprehended him without incident. He was booked into the North Central Regional jail in Greenwood, Doddridge County, West Virginia.
Wills will be extradited to Bucks County. He is being held without bond.
