John E. Booth, 47, was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police in Cleveland, Ohio, United States for aggravated murder. He has been arrested in Houston, Texas, USA.
Booth is accused of killing Tosha M. Fisher Williams, who was born in Charleston, South Carolina, USA to Alonzo Fisher and Tara Fisher. Williams has one daughter, who was born in 2015.
On July 27, 2023, Williams turned 45. At around 3:00 p.m. on March `12, 2024, she was found lying in her bed with a gunshot wound to the neck at her residence in Cleveland.
It was Williams’ daughter who made the discovery. Officers from the Cleveland Division of Police responded to the scene and found a single shell casing on the floor near Williams’ body.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. She was fatally shot allegedly by Booth.
On November 2, 2024, an arrest warrant was issued for Williams. Video evidence and deoxyribonucleic acid evidence put him at the scene of the crime, according to the warrant.
Led by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) initiated an investigation into the whereabouts of Booth. Information was developed that indicated he had fled Ohio to the Houston area.
On February 20, 2025, members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF), which was led by the U.S. Marshals, arrested Booth in the 8200 block of Koman Road in Houston.
