BIOGRAPHY

Ibasco is a Chinese-Filipino physicist and beauty queen. Here are 10 more things about her:

  1. She was born in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines to Simeon Ibasco and Gail Ibasco.
  2. From 1995 to 2007, she attended Hope Christian High School in Manila.
  3. From 2007 to 2011, she attended the University of Santo Tomas in Sampaloc, Manila where she earned her bachelor’s degree in applied physics.
  4. From 2011 to 2013, she attended the University of Santo Tomas where she earned her master’s degree in applied physics major in medical physics.
  5. She was a college instructor at the University of Santo Tomas from June 2013 to June 2014 and from June 2016 to November 2016.
  6. From July 2014 to July 2015, she was a medical physicist at St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
  7. She was a Binibining Pilipinas 2016 candidate.
  8. She won Miss Philippines Earth 2017.
  9. While reigning as Miss Earth 2017, she visited various islands in the Philippines and traveled to Belgium, Cambodia, Colombia, Mexico, Singapore and Vietnam.

  • On July 15, 2017, she represented Manila at Miss Philippines Earth 2017 and competed against 39 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She won the title.
  • On November 4, 2017, she represented the Philippines at Miss Earth 2017 competed against 84 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. She won the title.

2018

  • On May 19, 2018, she crowned her successor Miss Philippines Earth 2018 Celeste Cortesi at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
  • On November 3, 2018, she crowned her successor Miss Earth 2018 Nguyễn Phương Khánh at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

2019

  • On July 10, 2019, she, Karla Henry, Jamie Herrell and Angelia Ong hosted Miss Philippines Earth 2019 at The Cove of Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila.
  • On November 30, 2019, she served as Myanmar’s muse at the opening ceremony of the Southeast Asian Games 2019 in Ciudad de Victorua, Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines.

  • In January 2020, she joined AICI in Manila as an image consultant.
