Lisa Jeanine Findley, 53, of Kimberling City, Missouri, USA used a fake company, false court filings and forged documents to orchestrate a scheme to conduct a fraudulent sale of Graceland. She falsely claimed that Elvis’s daughter had pledged the mansion as collateral for a loan that she failed to repay before her death.

In particular, Findley posed as three different individuals affiliated with Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC, a fictitious private lender. She used several aliases including Carolyn Williams, Gregory Naussany, Kurt Naussany, Lisa Holden, Lisa Howell and Lisa Jeanine Sullins.

According to Findley, Lisa borrowed $3.8 million from the fictitious private lender in 2018, pledged Graceland as collateral for the loan and failed to repay the debt. The Kimberling City woman then sought $2.85 million from Elvis’s family.

On May 23, 2024, Findley published a fraudulent foreclosure notice in the Memphis newspaper The Commercial Appeal, announcing that Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC planned to auction Graceland to the highest bidder. To stop the sale, Elvis’s family sued the fictitious private lender in Tennessee state court.

On August 16, 2024, Findley was arrested and charged with mail fraud and aggravated identity theft. On February 25, 2025, she pleaded guilty to mail fraud.

Findley is scheduled to be sentenced on June 18, 2025. She faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
