1993
- In July 1993, she fatally shot Racey in Racey’s residence in Boca Raton and drove around with the victim’s body in the trunk before dumping it in Indian River County, Florida. Racey’s body was found in the trunk of her car during a standoff with police in Okeechobee County, Florida in which she threatened to kill herself. She told police Levy, her then boyfriend, killed Racey. She was released after posting a $100,000 bail.

1995
- On June 5, 1995, Florida Highway Patrol trooper Mark Stickel arrested her after pulling her leased Ford Escort over because of phony plastic license plates on the vehicle near Orlando, Florida. She gave him a counterfeit birth certificate for Carol Ann Navarro, 28, of Winter Park, Orange County, Florida. After telling him she was sick, she was taken to the emergency room of a hospital in Orlando where she grabbed a bottle of Betadine scrub solution and drank it.
