Who is Jake Knapp?

Jacob Richard “Jake” Bowley Knapp is an American professional golfer from California, United States. His maternal grandparents Gordon Sydney Frederick Bowley and Carol Bowley lived on a course in Palm Springs, California.

Born in raised in Manitoba, Canada, Gordon married Carol in 1962. They moved to Costa Mesa, California in 1968.

Gordon and Carol have three children namely Fraser Bowley, Cara Bowley Jones and Jennifer Bowley Knapp. Jennifer and Robert Knapp have two sons namely Ryan Bowley Knapp and Jake.

In November 2021, Gordon was diagnosed with colon cancer. On April 17, 2023, he died at age 85.
