Representing Monroe County, Kaylee Brooke McCollum won Miss Mississippi USA 2024 at the Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, Neshoba County, Mississippi, United States on April 6, 2024. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Maddi Lambert of Northwest Mississippi, Krystle Hughes of Capital City, Zoe Bigham of College Hill and Jada Kelly of Biloxi.

On August 4, 2024, McCollum represented Mississippi at Miss USA 2024 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA. She finished in the Top 20.

On March 29, 2025, McCollum will crown her successor at the Pearl River Resort in Choctaw. It is the 67th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Mississippi’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
