On February 24, 2024, the Asian dog walker she encountered on February 7, 2024 asked her again to leash her dog while they were on Butler Avenue in Los Angeles. In response, she told the dog walker to go back to China.
After a video of her racist remarks on February 24, 2024 went viral, she made all her social media accounts private.
On February 29, 2024, she sent a text message to the Los Angeles Times saying, “There was no excuse for what I said. I’m so remorseful. I’m not a racist just stupid.”
