Otilio Green, 43, of Hamden, New Haven County, Connecticut, United States is in jail. He is a former officer with the police department of Yale University in New Haven, New Haven County.
While employed by the department, Green allegedly uploaded five photos and 43 videos containing child sex abuse material (CSAM) to the Verizon cloud between February 3, 2025 and March 2, 2025. In the material are girls and boys, between the ages of one and 14, engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
The cloud-based storage provider for content on the Verizon cloud is Synchronoss Technologies, which is based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA. The provider contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to report the CSAM.
The internet protocol (IP) address and phone number associated with the CSAM belong to Green. When investigators searched his devices, they found 55 more videos containing CSAM.
On April 4, 2025, Green was arrested and transported to the New Haven Federal Courthouse in New Haven. After his arrest, the Yale University Police Department placed him on administrative leave and prohibited him from entering department’s headquarters or any other university building.
After posting a $100,000 bond, Green was released. Immediately after his release, Homeland Security Investigations took him into federal custody on related federal charges of CSAM possession.
On April 16, 2025, Green will appear at Meriden Superior Court in Meriden, Connecticut. The Hamden man was charged with first-degree possession of CSAM.
Aside from Hamden, Green has lived in other parts of Connecticut including New Haven and West Haven. On August 22, 2025, he will turn 44.
