Raised in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, Kimmarie graduated from Wilkinsburg High School. After Edward and Caroline separated in 1980, Kimmarie, her two brothers Edward Frank Johnson and Gregg Alan Johnson and Caroline lived with Caroline’s mother Eleanor Elizabeth Taliaferro West.
In 2022, Kimmarie and Ahamefula Elenwata Nwede‘s son Cameron Nino Nwede graduated from Malibu High School in Malibu, California, USA. Cameron is a musician professional known as NINO.
