Patricia Riggen’s film ‘G20’, Jon Pardi’s album ‘Honkytonk Hollywood’ released

Amazon MGM Studios released “G20” via Prime Video on April 10, 2023. It is an action thriller film written by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, Logan Miller and Noah Miller and directed by Patricia Riggen.

Capitol Nashville released “Honkytonk Hollywood” on April 11, 2025. It is the fifth studio album on Jon Pardi.

“G20”

Born in St. Matthews, South Carolina, USA, Viola Davis turned 59 on August 11, 2024. In “G20”, she plays U.S. president Danielle Sutton, who has to defend her family, her fellow leaders and the world when terrorists take over the G20 summit in Cape Town, South Africa.

Davis produced the film with Andrew Lazar and Julius Tennon. It was filmed in Cape Town from January 2024 to March 2024.

Playing U.S. vice president Harold Mosely is Clark Gregg. Ramon Rodriguez plays an agent named Manny Ruiz.

Danielle’s children Serena Sutton and Demetrius Sutton are played by Marsai Martin and Christopher Farrar, respectively. Serena and Demetrius’s father Derek Sutton is played by Anthony Anderson.

Born in Compton, California, USA, Anderson turned 54 on August 15, 2024. He graduated from Hollywood High School in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in 1988.

“Honkytown Hollywood”

Born and raised in Dixon, California, Pardi turned 39 on May 20, 2024. He graduated from Dixon High School in 2003.

Capitol Nashville released Pardi’s debut studio album “Write You a Song” on January 14, 2014. The label released his next albums “California Sunrise” on June 17, 2016, “Heartache Medication” on September 27, 2019 and “Mr. Saturday Night” on September 2, 2022.

On January 17, 2025, Pardi announced the released date of his fifth studio album. It is his first album to be produced by Jay Joyce, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

The album has 17 tracks. To promote it, Pardi will have a tour spanning 16 shows across 13 states and territories across the U.S. and Canada.
