Silvia Dörre Sánchez represented Germany in the 72nd edition of Miss World. The country won the international beauty pageant in 1956 via Petra Schürmann and in 1980 via Gabriella Brum.

BIOGRAPHY

Sanchez is a German-Spanish polyglot, pianist and beauty queen with a bachelor’s degree in international cultural and business studies. Her father is German and her mother is Spanish.

Born and raised in Leipzig, Germany, Sanchez is fluent in German, Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. She can read and write in six different alphabets.
