Wade Ponce de Leon, 31, of Hamilton, Loudoun County, Virginia, United States worked as a substitute teacher at Stone Hill Middle School in Ashburn, Loudoun County. In August 2022, Rohini Tohan became the principal of the school, which opened in 2006.

Aside from Hamilton, de Leon has lived in other parts of Loudoun County including Leesburg. Stone Hill Middle School is around 12.3 miles away from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, which is located in Leesburg.
On the morning of April 21, 2025, de Leon reported for work at the Stone Hill Middle School. Later that morning, he allegedly engaged in a sexual act alone in a parked car in the 22000 block of Carters Meadow Terrace in Ashburn.
The car was parked around 30 feet from the perimeter fence of the school and around 200 feet from the back entrance. At around 10:44 a.m., Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested de Leon there.
Authorities did not release details about how de Leon was caught committing the crime. He was charged with indecent exposure and booked into the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
This is not the first time de Leon was in trouble with the law. On March 16, 2020, Elizabeth Ann Provencal filed a lawsuit against him in Loudoun County, which was related to personal injury and motor vehicle.
On March 29, 2021, another lawsuit was filed against de Leon in King and Queen County, Virginia. Details about the lawsuit and the plaintiff are not available.
Stone Hill Middle School
On May 25, 2023, a male Stone Hill Middle School teacher allegedly assaulted a female student. In a search warrant filed in Loudoun Circuit Court on June 22, 2023, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detective Shannon Shelow wrote that the student reported that the teacher body checked her with the side of his body, causing her to hit into the wall.
In May 2024, Stone Hill Middle School students Shayaan Doodekula and Liam McCracken were recognized at the Annual Stock Market Game State Awards Luncheon at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. Under the guidance of 8th-grade Spectrum teacher Cristin Miller, the students won the Stock Market Game, an online economics and personal finance education program supported by the Virginia Council of Economic Education.
