Croatia made its Miss Universe debut in 1997. The European country currently has four placements in the international beauty pageant, which has been jointly owned by JKN Global Group and Legacy Holding Group since January 2024.
The first placement was in 2009 when Sarah Ćosić finished in the Top 15. It was followed by the Top 16 finishes of Elizabeta Burg and Shanaelle Petty in 2012 and 2017, respectively, and the Top 20 finish of Mia Rkman in 2019.
Miss Universe Croatia 2025 predictions
Zrinka Ćorić of Dubrovnik, Croatia was unplaced when she competed against 16 other Miss Universe Croatia 2020 candidates at the Hrvatska Radiotelevizija (HRT) Studio in Zagreb, Croatia on March 13, 2020. On May 6, 2024, she competed against 14 other Miss Universe Croatia 2024 candidates at the Emerald Hall of Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb and won the title.
On November 16, 2024, Ćorić represented Croatia at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
On April 28, 2025, Ćorić will go back to the Emerald Hall of Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb to crown her successor. It is the 29th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Croatia’s Miss Universe candidate.
The coronation ceremony will air live on Jutarnji.hr and a recorded broadcast will air on CMC Television at a later date. Among the prizes of the winner is a scholarship worth up to €20,000 from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management in Zagreb for a four-year bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in business administration.
