Vasquez has a bachelor’s degree in dentistry. Here are 10 more things about him:

1. He is an alumnus of Misamis University in Ozamiz, Misamis Occidental.
2. He was born and raised in Misamis Occidental.
3. He was a dental assistant based in Utica, New York, United States when he auditioned for the NBC singing competition “The Voice USA“.
4. He is the first Asian to win “The Voice USA”.
5. Before moving to the New York, he competed in the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” singing contest of the Filipino television show “It’s Showtime” twice.
6. From April 2009 to May 2015, he attended Misamis University.
