Alfredo Mercogliano was a resident of East Norriton Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The township is home to Barley Sheaf Inn and Old Norriton Presbyterian Church. 

On March 9, 1909, Norriton Township was divided into East Norriton Township and West Norriton Township. Both townships are served by the Norristown Area School District, which has six elementary schools, three middle schools and two high schools.

  2. His wife Esterina Fiore Mercogliano was born in Montella, Avellino, Campania.

A resident of Collegeville, Montgomery, Esterina worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Leigh County, Pennsylvania. She turned 93 on November 11, 2023 and died on June 3, 2024.

While employed as a special education teacher at Conestoga High School in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, Alfredo and Esterina’s granddaughter Michelle allegedly started a sexual relationship with a male student, then 16, in February 2025. On April 30, 2025, a total of 63 felony charges were filed against Michelle, a resident of Phoenixville, Chester County.

Aside from Phoenixville, Michelle has lived in other parts of Pennsylvania including Frazer and Malvern. Her parents are residents of Malvern.
