Mercogliano was an Italian-American woman. She has three brothers namely Antonio Fiore, Mario Fiore and Remigio Fiore and six sisters namely Marissa Fiore, Amelia Fiore, Nicolina Fiore, Salvatrice Fiore, Elena Fiore and Lisa Fiore.
