Eduardo Abinadab Landino, 27, of Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia, United States is a mathematics teacher. He is an alumnus of Chestatee High School in Gainesville and the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, Georgia.
Gainesville was named after U.S. Army officer Edmund Pendleton Gaines, a member of the Freemasons. Dubbed the Poultry Capital of the World, the city is known for its large number of poultry processing plants.
Sam Couvillon has been the mayor of Gainesville since 2021. The city is around 8 miles away from Oakwood, Hall County, which is home to West Hall Middle School.

After graduating from the University of North Georgia, Landino worked at West Hall Middle School in Oakwood, Hall County as a math teacher. He is accused of enticing and grooming a girl attending the school while he was teaching there.
In January 2025, Landino allegedly started using phone calls, text messages, social media and in-person conversations at the school to groom the girl for sexual acts. He allegedly drove her home from sports practice and solicited oral sex on one occasion.
On March 5, 2025, Hall County School District administrators notified a school resource officer about allegations involving Landino and the student. They placed him on leave and referred the situation to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.
On May 5, 2025, authorities obtained warrants for the arrest of Landino. On May 6, 2025, deputies with the warrant service unite of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested him after a traffic stop near his residence in Gainesville.
Landino was booked into the Hall County Jail in Gainesville. He is being held without bond.
The Gainesville man was charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and grooming a child for indecent purposes. Both charges are felonies.Â
