Miguel Luis “Migz” Reyes Villafuerte was born in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines to Luis Raymund “L-Ray” Favis Villafuerte Jr. and Lara Reyes Villafuerte. L-Ray was the governor of Camarines Sur, Philippines from 2004 to 2013 and has been the congressman of the province’s second district since 2016.
Migz was the governor of Camarines Sur from 2013 to 2022 and he has been the congressman of the province’s fifth district since 2022. In 2021, he married Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters.
