2025 Catanduanes congressmen, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Catanduanes is one of the six provinces of the Bicol region of the Philippines. The others are Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Masbate and Sorsogon.

Founded on September 26, 1945, Catanduanes has 11 municipalities namely Bagamanoc, Baras, Bato, Caramoran, Gigmoto, Pandan, Panganiban, San Andres, San Miguel, Viga and Virac. Collectively, these municipalities have 315 barangays, 63 of which are in Virac, the capital of the province.

From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Patrick Alain Azanza was the president of Catanduanes State University in Virac. On June 30 2025, he will assume office as the governor of Catanduanes.

On May 12, 2025, Catanduanes elected its new congressman, governor, vice governor and provincial board members. The province has two provincial districts.

On October 25, 2020, Sigrid Grace Flores represented Catanduanes at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and competed against 45 other candidates at the Cordillera Convention Center of Baguio Country Club in Baguio, Philippines. She was unplaced.

On July 31, 2022, Eiffel Rosalita represented Catanduanes at Binibining Pilipinas 2022 and competed against 39 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced but she won the Miss Congeniality award.

On May 28, 2023, Candy Marilyn Völlinger represented Catanduanes at Bb. Pilipinas 2023 and competed against 39 other candidates at the same venue. She was unplaced but she won the Best in Talent award.
