The Central Visayas region of the Philippines has two provinces namely Bohol and Cebu and three independent cities namely Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue. The three cities are geographically located in Cebu but independent from the province.

On May 2, 2025, Gabriella Mai Carballo represented Cebu City at Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and competed against 65 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She finished in the Top 6 and was crowned Miss Eco Philippines 2026.
