Pasig is one of the 16 cities in Metro Manila, Philippines. The others are Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig and Valenzuela.

Born in Iligan, Philippines, Shamcey Supsup Lee graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. In 2010, she topped the country’s licensure examination for architects and in 2013, she married Lloyd Lee.

On September 12, 2011, Shamcey represented the Philippines at Miss Universe 2011 and competed against 88 other candidates at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil. She was third runner-up to Leila Lopes of Angola.

On May 16, 2024, Shamcey turned 38. On October 7, 2024, she filed her candidacy to run for councilor of the first district of Pasig.
