2025 Romblon congressman, governor, vice governor, board members elected

Romblon is one of the five provinces of the Mimaropa region of the Philippines. The others are Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan.

Puerto Princesa is the only independent city in Mimaropa. The city is around 500 kilometers away from the municipality of Romblon, the capital of the province of the same name.

Dubbed the marble capital of the Philippines, the province of Romblon is known for its marble industry. The islands of the province have white sand beaches and diving spots.

2025 Romblon election results

On May 12, 2025, Romblon elected its new congressman, governor, vice governor and provincial board members. The province has one congressional district and two provincial districts.

Romblon has 17 municipalities namely Alcantara, Banton, Cajidiocan, Calatrava, Concepcion, Corcuera, Ferrol, Looc, Magdiwang, Odiongan, Romblon, San Agustin, San Andres, San Fernando, San Jose, Santa Fe and Santa Maria. Collectively, these municipalities have 219 barangays.

Marvin Malunes of Odiongan was one of the 16 Filipino mixed martial artists who fought for a $100,000 ONE Championship fight contract in “ONE Warrior Series: Philippines”, which premiered on September 18, 2022. He was eliminated in the episode aired on October 18, 2022.

On May 2, 2025, Mariah Nicole Valdez represented Romblon at Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and competed against 65 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.
