Sakhile Zibusiso Dube is a psychotherapist and a fashion entrepreneur born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She is the reigning Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024.
Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 predictions
On May 17, 2025, Dube will go back to the Harare Hippodrome in Braeside, Harare, Zimbabwe to crown her successor. It is the fifth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Zimbabwe’s Miss Universe candidate.
Arthur C. Evans and Rebecca “Becky K” Muchenje Kucherera will host the coronation ceremony with Noma Nyce and Tafadzwa Zimoyo as red carpet hosts. The judges are Brooke Bruk-Jackson, Paloma Mlunjwana, Roseanne Hall, Tsungai Makwanya and Zak Hawa.
From 20 candidates, only nine finalists are still in the running towards becoming Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025. I believe these five finalists will make it to the top:

Lyshanda Moyas (Gweru)
Zimbabwe currently has two Miss Universe placements. The African country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Yvette D’Almeida-Chakras in 1994, Langa Sibanda-Lloyd in 1996, Lorraine Magwenzi in 1997, Rachel Stuart in 1998, Corinne Crewe in 2000, Tsungai Muswerakuenda in 2001, Bruk-Jackson in 2023 and Dube in 2024.
On May 12, 2000, Crewe competed against 78 other Miss Universe 2000 candidates at the Eleftheria Indoor Hall in Nicosia, Cyprus and finished in the Top 10. In 2023, Tendai Hunda became the national director of Miss Universe Zimbabwe.
On May 18, 2024, Dube competed against 19 other Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 finalists at the Harare Hippodrome in Braeside and won the title. On November 16, 2024, she competed against 124 other Miss Universe 2024 candidates the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico and finished in the Top 30.

I agree. Lyshanda Moyas could make history as the first ever Miss Universe from Zimbabwe.
