Kyle Frederick Snyder is an American freestyle wrestler and graduated folkstyle wrestler who competes at 97 kilograms. He was born in Woodbine, Maryland, United States to Stephen “Steve” Snyder Sr. and Tricia Snyder.
Steve is a former collegiate football player who became a criminal investigator with the Department of Homeland Security. Tricia is a former cheerleader who became a marketing manager and a fitness instructor.
Kyle has one sister named Megan Snyder and two brothers namely Stephen Patrick Snyder Jr. and Kevin Snyder. Their paternal grandparents are Fred Snyder and Gayle Snyder.
In 1963, Fred won the European high school wrestling championship. At the time, he was attending school at a German military base where his father was stationed.

In Kyle’s first three years of high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland, he amassed a 179-0 record. He transferred to Coronado High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA and entered Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
