Founded in 1964, Binibining Pilipinas is the oldest existing national beauty pageant in the Philippines. It currently holds the Miss International and The Miss Globe franchises of the country,
Currently, the Philippines has six Miss International crowns, which were won by Gemma Cruz in 1964, Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979, Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005, Bea Rose Santiago in 2013 and Kylie Versoza in 2016. The country also has two The Miss Globe crowns, which were won by Ann Colis in 2015 and Maureen Montagne in 2021.
Bb. Pilipinas 2024
On July 7, 2024, Myrna Esguerra of Abra was crowned Bb. Pilipinas International 2024 and Jasmin Bungay of Pampanga was crowned as Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2024 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Christal Jean de la Cruz of Zambales and Trisha Martinez of Pila, Laguna were the respective first and second runners-up.
On October 15, 2024, Bungay represented the Philippines at The Miss Globe 2024 and competed against 42 other candidates at the Tirana Olympic Park in Tirana, Albania. She was second runner-up to Diana Moreno of Colombia.
On November 27, 2025, Esguerra will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2025 in Tokyo, Japan. She is expected to competed against more than 70 other candidates.
Bb. Pilipinas 2025
On June 15, 2025, Esguerra and Bungay will crown their respective successors at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It is the 61st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ Miss International and The Miss Globe candidates.
The first placer will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2026. The second placer will represent the country at The Miss Globe 2025.
