Hasset Dereje Admassu represented Ethiopia in the 72nd edition of Miss World, which is based in London, England, United Kingdom. Founded by Eric Morley in 1951, it is the oldest existing international beauty pageant.

- On December 1, 2024, she competed against 49 other Miss World Ethiopia 2024 candidates at the Hotel Bonanza in Addis Ababa and won the title.
2025
- On May 31, 2025, she represented Ethiopia at Miss World 2025 and competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She was runner-up to Suchata Chuangsri and was crowned Miss World Africa 2025.
