Morataya is a Belizean dancer and beauty queen from Belize City, Belize. Here are 13 more things about her:

She is an alumna of Ebenezer Methodist School in Belize City.
She is the founder of Raíces y Alas, an organization empowering youth through education on health, wellness and leadership.
She is an advocate for kidney health and awareness.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in science studies from St. Catherine’s Academy in Belize City.
She studied law at the Universidad Mariano Gálvez de Guatemala in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
She attended the University of the West Indies, Global Campus in Kingston, Jamaica while working as an administrative assistant for ChildHope Belize.
In 2022, she became a member of the Kidney Association of Belize.
She was Miss World Belize 2023 first runner-up.
She is Miss Belize Latina 2024.
She was a Miss America Latina del Mundo 2024 candidate.
On October 23, 2024, she turned 23.
While reigning as Miss World Belize 2025, she pursued a master’s degree in social sciences at St. John’s College Junior College in Belize City and underwent indoctrination into the Lions Clubs International Foundation, an international organization that focuses on serving communities in 200 countries.
She was a Miss World 2025 candidate.

Morataya speaks English and Spanish. She is passionate about dancing.

On March 23, 2024, she competed against six other Miss World Belize 2023 candidates in Belmopan, Belize. She was runner-up to Noelia Hernandez.
In April 2024, she visited the Parque Zoológico La Aurora in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
In August 2024, she traveled to Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
On September 5, 2024, the ILS Phoenix Foundation appointed her Miss Belize Latina 2024.
On October 12, 2024, she represented Belize at Miss America Latina del Mundo 2024 and competed against 18 other candidates at the Occidental Caribe Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. She was unplaced.
On November 30, 2024, the ILS Foundation appointed her Miss World Belize 2025.

On May 31, 2025, she represented Belize at Miss World 2025 and competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She was unplaced.
