BIOGRAPHY

Greenidge is a Barbadian environmental activist, model and beauty queen from Bridgetown, Barbados. Here are 10 more things about her:

  1. From 2004 to 2011, she attended Harrison College where she studied economics, sociology and Spanish.
  2. From 2011 to 2015, she attended The University of the West Indies in Cave Hill where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and international business.
  3. From 2012 to 2013, she completed an exchange program at York University where she studied political science.
  4. She was a Miss Universe Barbados 2017 finalist.
  5. From June 2018 to June 2019, she was a project officer at Future Centre Trust, an environmental non-governmental organization focused o raising awareness of environmental impacts on Barbados.
  6. In 2019, she founded The Deaf Heart Project, a registered charity in Barbados.
  7. She won Miss World Barbados 2019.

  • On December 14, 2019, she represented Barbados at Miss World 2019 and competed against 110 other candidates at the ExCeL London in London, England, United Kingdom. She was unplaced.

  • From April 2020 to Augsut 2020, she was a research assistant at The Substance Abuse Foundation.
  • From March 2021 to December 2021, she was the general secretary of YMCA Barbados.
  • From June 2022 to July 2022, she was an ecosystem convenor at UNDP Accelerator Labs in Barbados.
  • In January 2022, she joined the Barbados Environmental Conservation Trust as the executive director.
