Devkota is a American-Nepali beauty queen who advocates for women and girls’ health. Here are 13 more things about her:

She was born in Khandbari, Sankhuwasabha, Koshi, Nepal.
She spent most of her childhood in Gorkha, Gandaki, Nepal.
She attended Shree Amar Jyoti Janata High School in Luitel, Gorkha up until the third grade.
After spending three years Shree Amar Jyoti Janata High School, she moved from Gorkha to North Carolina, United States with her family.
In 2011, she got her driver’s license in North Carolina and started working to start saving money for college.
In 2015, she started advocating for women and girls’ health in Nepal.
In 2017, she earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
She won Miss Nepal 2018.
She was a Miss Universe 2018 semifinalist.
In 2020, she visited India.
She was the official Miss Nepal North America 2021 coach and trainer.
In 2022, she visited the Cayman Islands.
On April 11, 2025, she turned 30.

Devkota is 5’8″ tall. She speaks Nepali, Hindi and English.
