The United States has been competing in Miss International since 1960. The country currently has 32 placements in the international beauty pageant including the coronation of Brucene Smith in 1974, Katherine Ruth in 1978 and Christie Claridge in 1982.

Miss US International 2025

On July 6, 2025, the Miss U.S. International 2025 coronation ceremony will be held in Washington, D.C., USA. The winner will represent the country in the 63rd edition of Miss International in Tokyo, Japan on November 27, 2025.

Miss US International 2024

The reigning Miss U.S. International 2024 is Alysa Cook, a native of Pensacola, Florida, USA. She finished in the Top 10 in Miss U.S. International in 2020 and 2021 and was runner-up to Miss U.S. International 2023 Kenyatta Beazer.

On October 26, 2023, Beazer represented the U.S. at Miss International 2023 and competed against 69 other candidates at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo. She was unplaced but she was crowned Miss International Americas 2023.

On July 26, 2024, Cook represented Florida at Miss U.S. International 2024 and competed against 11 other candidates at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida. She won the title.

Runner-up to Cook was Hawaii’s Melody Higa. The respective second to fifth runners-up were Washington, D.C.’s Robyn Kassgerji, Southern States’ Kali Sturgis, Georgia’s Ajayla Jamya and Oklahoma’s Sara Conner.

On November 12, 2024, Cook represented the U.S. and Higa represented Hawaii at Miss International 2024 and competed against 69 other candidates at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo. They were both unplaced.
