McGarry is a Filipino-American disc jockey, model and beauty queen. Her father Christopher McGarry played in the Philippine Basketball Association and the University Athletics Association of the Philippines and Her mother Victoria Alba Landrito is from Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines.

• On February 21, 2010, she represented the Philippines at Top Model of the World 2010 and competed against 42 other candidates at Casino Hohensyburg in Dortmund, Germany. She finished in the Top 15.
• On August 28, 2010, she competed against 23 other Mutya ng Pilipinas 2010 candidates at the Resorts World Manila Grand Theater in Newport City, Pasay, Metro Manila. She ranked third and was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific 2010.
• On November 7, 2010, she represented the Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2010 and competed against 57 other candidates at Teatro Taíno of Hotel Barceló Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. She finished in the Top 15.
• On March 15, 2015, she represented Nabua at Binibining Pilipinas 2015 and competed against 33 other candidates at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila. She ranked fourth and was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2015.
