Kevin J. Krebs, 31, of Malvern, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States was arrested in West Chester, Chester County on June 14, 2025. He was charged with carrying a firearm without a license.
That day, an individual told police that Krebs stood at the back of a black-colored Ford Explorer that had its trunk open and put on a yellow rain coat along with the weapons. According to the individual, who was in the No Kings rally in West Chester, Krebs put on a tactical vest and hid a gun.

Krebs complied when police officers stopped him and asked him to unzip his rain coat and put his hands out to his sides. Oleoresin capsicum spray, a ski mask, a pocketknife, an M9 bayonet knife, fully loaded Sig Sauer P320 handgun, three loaded Sig Sauer magazines, six loaded assault rifle magazines and gloves were found in his possession.
An AR15-styled rifle was found on the floor of the back seat of Krebs’ car. After being taken into custody, he was released on $250,000 bail and required to hand over all of his weapons to the West Chester Police Department.
Aside from Malvern, Krebs has lived in other parts of Pennsylvania including West Chester. He does not have a registered conceal to carry permit.
On June 16, 2025, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents executed a search warrant at Krebs’ residence in Malvern, which he shares with his younger brother Alex Krebs. The agents found a pipe bomb, a kitchen timer, a plastic pill bottle to act as a detonator, a 9-volt battery and multiple improvised detonators.
Several items including tactical vests, sketches of explosive devices and 13 improvised explosive devices were also found inside the residence. A gas mask, a military-style radio and night-vision goggles were found inside Kevin’s vehicle at his parents’ residence.
After the search warrant, Kevin rearrested and booked into the Chester County Prison in West Chester. He was charged with causing a catastrophe, recklessly endangering another person, 13 counts of possession of an instrument of crime and 13 counts of possession of weapons of mass destruction.
On June 17, 2025, Kevin was arraigned. He was denied bail.
