Anamaria E. Milazzo, 22, of Elmira, Chemung County, New York, United States was recently arrested. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Wellsburg Village Court in Wellsburg, Chemung County at a later date, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

For three months, Milazzo allegedly sent nude photographs of herself to a boy, 14. Authorities did not release details about how she and the boy knew each other.
On June 9, 2025, a school resource officer assigned to the Greater Southern Tier (GST) Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) received a complaint about the indecent material Milazzo allegedly sent to a minor. The criminal investigations division of the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the Elmira woman was arrested. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and disseminating indecent material to minors in the second degree.
BOCES was created by the New York State legislature to provide shared educational programs and services to school districts within the state. The boards’ membership is currently not available to five school districts in New York namely Buffalo, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse and Yonkers.
Elmira is the county seat of Chemung County. The city is around 230 miles away from New York City.
Milazzo attended Notre Dame High School in Elmira. A three-sport student-athlete, she played on the girls’ basketball, soccer and softball teams.
When Milazzo entered Corning Community College in Corning, Steuben County, New York, she joined the college’s women’s soccer team. She was a goalkeeper.
In November 2019, William A. Schrom became the sheriff of Chemung County. He earned an associate’s degree in applied science from Corning Community College and a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in criminal justice administration from Keuka College in Keuka Park, Yates County, New York.
