Tyler Michael Treadaway, 27, is wanted in Iowa County, Iowa, United States in connection to multiple charges of sexual abuse of multiple children. Authorities have yet to release details about his alleged crimes.
After the reports of abuse, Treadaway fled Iowa and hid in Florida, USA. On March 10, 2025, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On April 21, 2025, investigators with the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force (NIFTF) and requested assistance in the location and apprehension of Treadaway. They coordinated with the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force (FCRFTF) of the U.S. Marshals Service.
On June 6, 2025, Treadaway turned 27. On July 1, 2025, officers with the FCRFTF narrowed their search to an area in the 4900 block of Lofty Pines Circle West in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, which is around 164 miles away from Tallahassee.
Shortly after noon, U.S. Marshals approached Treadaway, who eventually surrendered to the officers. He was arrested without incident and transported for processing.
Treadaway was charged with three counts of second-degree sexual abuse. He will remain in custody and will be extradited to Iowa.
FCRFTF
In July 2008, the FCRFTF began operations following the Presidential Threat Protection Act of 2000, which was enacted by the U.S. Congress on December 19, 2000. The act also authorizes the U.S. Secret Service to plan, coordinate and implement security operations at special events of national significance when directed by the president of the country.
The FCRFTF has partnership agreements with more than 90 federal, state and local agencies and 11 fully operational offices. Since its inception, the task force has been able to successfully apprehend more than 64,600 fugitives.
