The reigning Miss Universe Cuba 2024 is Marianela Ancheta Rodriguez. She is a Cuban entrepreneur and model based in Miami, Florida, United States.
Miss Universe Cuba 2025
On July 8, 2025, Ancheta will crown her successor at the Milander Park in Hialeah, Florida. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Cuba’s Miss Universe candidate.
A total of 18 women are competing for the Miss Universe Cuba 2025 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

Currently, Cuba has three Miss Universe placements. These are the Top 15 finish of Maria Rodriguez Echevarria in 1956, the third runner-up finish of Maria Rosa Gamio Fernandez in 1957 and the Top 30 finish of Ancheta in 2024.
Cuba was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Cuba in 1952, from 1954 to 1958, from 1959 to 1963 and from 1965 to 1967. In 2024, Prince Julio Cesar became the national director of Miss Universe Cuba.
On September 26, 2024, Ancheta represented Region Central at Miss Universe Cuba 2024 in Miami, competed against 23 other candidates and won the title. Runner-up to Ancheta was Alina Robert of La Habana and the second runner-up was Maylin Hernandez of Granma.
On November 16, 2024, Ancheta represented Cuba at Miss Universe 2024, competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City and finished in the Top 30. On March 9, 2025, she served as a judge at Miss Global 2024 at The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bang Khen, Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi, Thailand and on March 10, 2025, she turned 32.
