Noura Raïssa Njikam was born in Douala, Littoral Regional, Cameroon. She attended the Collège Bilingue Charles et Thérèse Mbakop and the Faculte de Sciences Juridiques et Politiques (FSJP) of the University of Yaoundé II, which are both in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
On June 28, 2024, Njikam competed against 25 other Miss Cameroon 2024 candidates at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaoundé and won the title. The respective first and second runners-up were Foe Vanessa and Aishatou Bobo.
Miss Cameroon 2025
On July 12, 2025, Njikam will crown her successor at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. It is the 20th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Cameroon’s Miss Universe and Miss World candidates.

On November 12, 2022, Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse represented Littoral at Miss Cameroun 2023 and competed against 18 other finalists at the Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaoundé in Yaoundé. She won the title.
Runner-up to Princesse was Monalisa Mouketey. On January 14, 2023, Mouketey represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2022, competed against 82 other candidates at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States and was unplaced.
On November 18, 2023, Princesse represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2023, competed against 83 other candidates at the Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador and finished in the Top 20. It is the first and still the only Miss Universe placement of the African country.
On May 31, 2025, Princesse represented Cameroon at Miss World 2025 and competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She finished in the Top 20.
